me, me, me
I began to start thinking of photography in a more creative way when I was lucky enough to get my hands on a
Canon A1 (which I still own and use today) around 6 years ago. Since then, time has thrown up some great photographic experiences which
has helped me to fine tune my photographic style.
In 2005 I changed from film to digital and purchased my first Nikon. The
quality of the images produced increased dramatically and it was this, coupled with the ease at which digital allows
you to control post development that really pushed my creativity to a new level.
I now take great pleasure in crafting photographs of all types of subjects and enjoy the challenges that photography
throws at me on almost a daily basis. From capturing dawn over a landscape, arranging a wedding portrait to the up
close detailed world of macro.
I have an open minded approach to photography, which allows me to create unique and creative pieces of work. All to the highest quality.
In my other life I'm a web designer and developer. I guess I've been doing this for pretty much the same amount of time
as my photography and now for me the two go hand in hand. Both have avenues of creativity and it's this which attracts me to them.
I studied Computer Information System Design at Kingston University which clings to the outer zones of London where I lived
and worked for a good 4 years.
In 2007 I decided to drop the 9-5 commute for a 5 month trip around South America. Such a great and extensive photographic
experience. The diversity of the people, land and food was inspiring - Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador -
all amazing countries.
Recently I have landed firmly in New Zealand and I'm adjusting to a new English speaking world with a great culture and attitude.
