Dropbox Getting Started Progress Box
A cool little trick I noticed a while back on the Dropbox site.
It uses two absolute positioned items - one transparent gif (the outline of the opened box) and one div (which sits behind the gif) with a blue background. The height of the div is then animated to a set percentage - which also indicates the percentage of progress made (say 50%) in getting started.
